Black Gold??

Mary got it right! Our area is being tested for oil. We've got our fingers crossed. And crossed. And crossed again. I would love to sing the refrain to the "Beverly Hillbillies" and have it mean something to me.

I can just see Tom and I in this truck, but even if we did
hit black gold, I think we might stay right here.

I was hoping to get pics of the "thumper" trucks that do the actual seismic testing, but since they didn't come through over the weekend, I'm afraid they might do their thing during the week while we're at work. DRATS.

  6. Hubby and I would love to strike it rich. We would both quit our jobs (fershur) and I would concentrate 100% on my blogs and FB and Twitter and my store on Zazzle.... oh yeah, I might travel more. In fact, I would visit some of my bloggy buddies! :)

  10. How exciting!!!! Wouldn't that be something though. I don't know what I would do if a windfall came my way. It is fun to contemplate anyway.

Once there was a lottery with 40 million riding on it. For some reason I started thinking about it and how I would spend it. I told my daughter about it and I told her I would not give her any at first because her husband had just finished college and had his first job and I wouldn't want to ruin his route to his own success====and she got so mad she didn't speak to me for two weeks!!!! All for a make-believe lottery win.
