Thank You, Every One of You...

for your comments and concern.  We made it unscathed through today's scary storms and I'm very, very thankful for that.

Sure, I'll admit it's fun to try and get spectacular storm photos, but today was one of those days I was really praying that the weatherman would be wrong, or at least a bit off on his calculations.

I hope that those who live east of us make it through safe and sound tonight also.  We can all get through bad storms... monster tornadoes not so much.

  3. Hi Susan...I'm glad you and your family and farm are ok down there. I think you got it much worse than we did up here although just west of Hutch had that tree fall on the mother and son because of the wind. My heart goes out to all the families affected by these terrible storms. Be safe.

  4. I agree with you-It IS fun being in a huge storm and taking pictures and the excitement, but when the destruction comes and people lose their lives, then it's not so fun anymore.

I'm glad you all are okay!!

  6. Oz Girl, welcome to the midwest weather. I'm glad to hear that nothing has happened to you or your things. It certainly has been some kind of weather this May. Hasn't it? So far we have escaped the really bad weather here in Nebraska. The storms here have just brought nice rain with enjoyable thunder and lightning. We have one day of sunshine today and then back into the rain cycle for another five days. I wish it would spread this out throughout the summer a little more.

    Have a storm safe day.

  8. So, I'm a week late in reading this and hope everything still is okay in your part of the world? I've seen footage of the damage these tornados cause and I'm so sorry for all those affected. The weather can be so very scary.
