Home Sweet Home

Indeed, there's nowhere as sweet as home. Especially with 3 slobbery furkids to welcome my tired butt back!! I think the horses and the kittehs were happy to see me too.  And the hubster too, of course!  :-)

Upon my return, I was excited to see my complimentary issues of the May/June issue of Grit magazine, with a few more of my photos tucked between their beautiful rural living pages.

And I promise, next week I'm going to get back into my "normal" and visit all my sweet bloggy friends. I sure do miss y'all! :-)

A particularly beautiful, bright day a few weeks ago at our pond

  4. Welcome Home! Now that you're back would you be interested in an online digital photography course? We've already had 3 classes: The Photographer's Eye, The Camera and The Lens, but we have 7 more classes to go. Did I mention that this is FREE! The first two classes were more informative than anything, I think you already have a good start with the Photographer's Eye. The last classs on the len's I could send you my notes, unless you already understand lenses. Anyway check out my blogpost... http://ksborn.blogspot.com/2010/04/my-latest-distraction-creativelive.html

  6. Why I do seem to remember ponds back in Ohio being nothing but muddy and brown? They must keep the best ones in Kansas. Gorgeous shot. Welcome back.

  9. Welcome back, indeed! Missed you a lot! And that photo needs to be someone's screen saver, or the cover of some magazine - it's incredible, and so sharp and focused.

  21. Thanks Susan for popping over to my blog - how could a Kansas girl like you resist a title like that lol. I can so relate to needing the 36 hour day - I don't get to visit as many blogs now in the growing season as during the winter time. Thanks for the visit - it was much appreciated.

Thats a beautiful photograph especially with the reflections in the water.

    :) Rosie

I did have a Tweet up w/a lovely man and his bride - he used to play Smart Ass w/us - Joe from MYQUALITYTIME blog? I told him about u an me and takin' pics when u stopped in Dayton and how we laughed at pics of our bellies!! He promised not to take a pic of my belly. What a nice man he is and what fun it always is to meet a bloggy friend! Hugs to you sweetie!
