  3. Was that today? We had a few sprinkles this evening - just enough to mess up the car windshield. Dirt + sprinkles = muddy windshield.

  5. You are right. Nothing like a summer storm that you can see way off in the distance.

  12. I just came upon your blog and love your photos. I grew up on a small farm in eastern Ohio, went to college in a small town in Kansas, lived in Wichita later, and now live in the state of Washington. Your photos do remind me of my college days. I enjoyed all 3 places, even though the scenery is quite different from each other.

  13. yup, nothing like a good summer rain to cool things down and freshen up the air. Thunder and lighting without damage are fascinating to watch. If it takes 30,000 volts to jump a spark one inch, holy sparky it would take billions of Jigawatts (Back to the Future term)to produce a lightening strike. Pretty incredible when you think about it.

It looks like we are in for more rain next week. There were only nucience rains that kept the humidity up this week.

Have a great day in the garden.

What a great view you have, all the way to the horizon. All that space... wow!

  18. Oh my. She's drenched, poor thing. *smile*

I love summer storms as long as I'm safe and dry somewhere inside. I really love the sweet scent of after a rainfall.
